Solution:

∴ The excluded values are -5, 5
(ii)
(t – 3) (t – 2) = 0 ⇒ t = 3, 2
∴ The excluded values are 3, 2

(x + 2) (x + 1) = 0
∴ The excluded values are 2, 1
(iv)
x(x2 + x – 6) = 0
x(x + 3) (x – 2) = 0
∴ The excluded values are -3, 2
